The Morino accordions were developed starting in the 1950s as top-of-the-line models in the Hohner lineup and were long regarded as the benchmark for professional accordionists worldwide. Named after the Italian accordion maker Giovanni Gola Morino, these instruments represent German engineering at the highest level. The Morino models manufactured in Germany, in particular, continue to enjoy an excellent reputation for their durability, their characteristic warm tone, and their outstanding mechanics.
