The Atkin LG-47 The Forty Seven was made in England. The top wood of the beautiful Folk was made of solid Sitka Spruce (Baked). Back/sides were made of solid mahogany. The top construction is made of scalloped X-bracing. The neck was made of mahogany and fitted with a Santos rosewood fingerboard. The bridge is also made of Santos rosewood. The neck profile was realized by a slim C profile. The body, as well as the back of the neck, was lacquered in high gloss and artificially aged (aged finish). The result of the aging process is impressive!

The special feature of the Aktin LG-47 is the fantastic fingerstyle and flatpicking characteristics. The sound is very balanced and differentiated.
