For the 60th anniversary of Takamineguitars, the beautiful Takamine ''THE 60TH'' is made in limited edition (60pcs worldwide).

The body of Takamine The60th is made of solid Hawaiian Koa. The top bracing was realized by three-piece spruce/ebony/spruce bracing pattern. The ebony core reduced the weight of the bracing by 20%. This measure significantly improved the vibration behavior of the top wood. The bracing adjustment was done by Noriharu Sakurai (Takamine production manager) and Toru Hirokawa (master guitar maker). The headstock was decorated with a diamond inlay (Echeter diamond 0.1carat, real gold setting 18 carat). The body was fitted with a beautiful abalone inlay. The mahogany neck was fitted with an ebony fingerboard. The Takamine STF-2N pickup system was installed for electronic pickup.

The included Takamine case was made by a Japanese manufacturer who specializes in small quantities.

The Takamine Limited the60th comes with a case and certificate.

Each acoustic guitar is tested and set in our workshop for acoustic guitars.
