Button accordion B-Grip & C-Grip
Button accordions are chromatic accordions that have buttons in both the treble and bass ranges. The buttons in the bass range do not differ from piano accordions. Button accordions are divided into B-stop and C-stop accordions.
Construction of the C-grip button accordions
On C-grip button accordions, the C is found in the first and fourth row, the semitone steps are ascending from the outside to the inside. In Germany, C-stop button accordions are more common than B-grip instruments. B-grip button accordions are very popular in Russia, Norway, Belgium and Serbia. The Bb (or Bb) is in the first and fourth rows of the Bb-grip instruments and the semitone steps are ascending from the inside to the outside.
The button accordions are usually equipped with 5 rows of buttons on the treble side. The fourth and fifth rows are a repetition of the first and second rows. As with a piano keyboard, the buttons are black and white (or white / fluted buttons). We offer a large selection of new and refurbished button accordions. From 40 bass for beginners to 185 bass with single bass notes. We would be happy to advise you on your desired button accordion!
