In 1987 Takamine celebrated its 25th anniversary. For this special occasion, the first Takamine Limited model was manufactured. Since 1987, Takamine produces a new Limited model every year, which is the flagship in manufacturing and design. The Takamine Limited guitars are very popular among collectors.
Takamine LTD 2021 Blue Rose
The 2021 Takamine Limited acoustic guitar combines exquisite craftsmanship with a very successful design and fantastic sound. The Takamine LTD 2021 Blue Rose acoustic guitar is a slope-shoulder dreadnought with sensational inlay work in the fingerboard. It has been inlaid with a Blue Rose made of genuine fabric. The fabric was dyed using the traditional "Azimo" method with natural vegetable dyes.
The top of the Takamine Limited 2021 has been finished in beautiful Charcoal Blue Gradation (high gloss) to match the fingerboard inlay.
Takamine Slopeshoulder-Dreadnought
The top wood of Takamine LTD 2021 guitar was made of solid Sitka spruce. The back is made of solid sapele. The top wood was decorated with a beautiful white binding and a successful abalone inlay. Likewise the rosette was equipped with a matching abalone inlay. The neck was made of mahogany and fitted with an ebony fingerboard. The fingerboard was decorated with the enchanting Blue Rose made of fabric. The Aizome method is a traditional art form in Takamine's home of Gifu Japan.
Other features of the Takamine LTD2021 include the split bridge inlay for excellent intonation, the Takamine highly acclaimed Palathetic pickup, and the Takamine GC archtop case.
