The company MusicMan was founded in 1974 and since then stands for high quality standards and special designs.
In the 70s it was Sterling Ball who was actively involved in the development and design of the StingRay basses at MusicMan. In 1984 Sterling became the owner of the company. Today his two sons are also part of the professional team of MusicMan. Currently the American company delivers its handmade instruments to over 135 countries worldwide.
