The Martin D-28 Bigsby was developed in cooperation with Gretsch. Thus a second model inspired by Merle Travis could be realized. Merle Travis is a formative guitarist of the 40s. He created the famous ''Travis-Picking''.

The Martin D-28Bigsby is based on the Martin D-28 (2017). In contrast to the Martin D-28, the neck of the Martin bigsby was made of maple and equipped with the sensational Bigsby headstock. The maple neck offers a unique sound quality, which provides plenty of sustain and a bright sound character. This combined with the warm and full sound of rosewood makes the instrument unique.

The Martin D28 Bigsby comes with a Martin case and certificate.

Each acoustic guitar is tested and set in our workshop for acoustic guitars.
