The Ormsby Futura GTR7 7 string electric guitar was made in South Korea. The body is made of swamp ash. The neck was made of Roasted Maple and fitted with an ebony fingerboard. The neck profile consists of a very thin U. The fingerboard was equipped with 24 stainless steel jumbo frets. Due to the multiscale construction, a scale length of 25.5 inches and 27.5 inches was achieved. This has not only tonal advantages. The playability of the Ormsby Futura is fantastic. Electronic pickup is provided by a Hot Rock A8 bridge humbucker and a PVH A2 neck humbucker. The humbuckers can be easily split via the tone poti.
